iPOINT Project: ATM Pulsar Switch

Computer Science Department and
Center for Compound Semiconductor MicroElectronics
The

shows how the iPOINT switch interconnects the Beckman building to DCL,
The iPoint switch is based on a report describing the
Pulsar switch.
A recent
technical report
describes the current implementation of the iPoint switch.
The switch uses a parallel
shift-register ring design.
The switch controller software for the iPOINT switch is written using
the
x-ATM toolkit.
