RETURN TO HAPPINESS
G. Sobakina, Music teacher, Serpukhov In our ordinary life, in our everyday reality , as a. rule we feel miserable, that we are being burdened with the constant problems of the day , our "debts," . our obligations, thoughts about things not yet done, about danger which are approaching us from the future do not leave our heads even for a minute. Every day is full of worries, our nerves and thoughts are tense, aimed at solving the infinite problems, small and large, and rest from them, rest that is so desired and fleeting in the distance, we see in a departure to some other place where perhaps people have their own problems. but at least they don't concern us, so that mentally we can be far away from them.
But it is not at all mandatory to see our vacation in the form of an extended and distant trip. This flight from everyday reali- ty can be accomplished without any special efforts. And without i leaving the confines of your own room. Herein lies this method: you have to place a small mattress on the floor next to the wall, and you need to tack a few illustrations from children's books, those which we read and loved in childhood, on the wall at the level of the mattress. . You need to lay down on the mattress fac- ing the wall and these pictures, and try to begin to examine each of them carefully. That peace, or disconnection spoken about above should come to you for a reason that doesn't require fur- ther explanation - you used to lie in this position when you were a month-old infant and mama would put you to bed, you would remain alone in this blissful half-asleep oblivion and complete silence, warmth and maternal care. There is still another means to intensify this peace and happiness in which you can temporari- ly submerge yourself - it is necessary to partition off the mat- tress on three sides with three boards. and they will merely intensify the image on the bed from your distant childhood.

5. hang all 6 of them on the wall in a single row at a dis- tance of 25 cm. above the floor and with 3 cm. between them.
